Mila's 1st Fiesta - Cake Smash Session - Port Chester, NY
As a cake smash photographer in Westchester County, one of my favorite things is when families return to me for milestone sessions. Eight years ago, I first met Melissa and her daughter Sofia during a maternity session when Melissa was pregnant with her middle daughter, Arianna. From that moment, we clicked, and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of documenting their family’s journey ever since—from newborn sessions to first birthdays, and holiday sessions, including Valentine's Day, fall, and beyond.
Recently, I had the honor of photographing their youngest daughter Camila's 1st birthday cake smash session. The session was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of cake. Camila's personality shined throughout the session. Her infectious smiles and joyful energy made the day so much fun. She fully embraced the cake smash experience, getting into the spirit of her fiesta and delighting everyone with her cake-crushing enthusiasm. And when we brought out the tub for her splash session, her joy only multiplied. Not only was it adorable, but it made clean-up for Mom so much easier!
The photos truly capture Camila’s happiness during this milestone, and while I could describe every detail of the session, I’ll let the images do the talking. Mila’s 1st Fiesta was filled with laughter, fun, and of course, cake!
And we have another exciting milestone ahead with this family—they’ll be adding a baby boy to their growing crew this year! I can’t wait to continue capturing this beautiful family’s memories as they grow and celebrate even more milestones together.
