Where are you based and do you travel?

A.My studio is based in Port Chester, NY where I was born and raised! However, I do travel around the tri-state area. If you would like me to photograph your story, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place.

When is the best time to schedule a session with you?

A.Depending on the time of year it is, my calendar can fill up rather quickly so the sooner you can secure a date the better!

What is the best way to contact you?

A.The best way to contact me for sessions is by email at DTPSessions@gmail.com. Please do not use Facebook Messenger or Instagram DM's as I do not always receive notifications and I would hate to miss your inquiry!

When is the best time to capture a Maternity Session?

A.I prefer to capture Maternity Sessions between 28-34 weeks. Your belly will be beautiful and round and you will still be comfortable moving around. While this time frame is a good starting point, I always tell clients the best time is when you are the most comfortable so don't worry if you are not in that time frame. I'm happy to capture you at any time!

It is highly recommended to reach out to us during your second trimester to secure and book a date for your photos. I hate turning people away because I don't have the availability!

Should I schedule my Newborn Session while I'm pregnant?

A.YES!!!! The best time to book your Newborn Session is before the baby is born. Let me explain why......

My favorite time to photograph newborns are within the first 2-2.5 weeks of birth. I find it to be a "sweet spot" . They are much less alert and sleepy which allows us to get them in all those cute and cuddly poses.

When you book your session during your pregnancy, your due date automatically goes on my calendar and guarantees a session when your baby is born. I only take a small number of bookings for newborn each month. This allows me to keep my calendar flexible to work with your due date. We will schedule a tentative date and then an exact date once you're little one arrives.

My Baby Is Already Here! Is it Too Late To Book?

A.Many families start to think about getting a newborn session done once their little one arrives. If this is you, you're not alone.

If your little one has already arrived, please reach out to us to check if we have any last minute availability. We just might be able to squeeze you in!

If your baby is past the "2 week window" it doesn't mean you have to miss out. Babies can be captured at any age and I will let you know what we can and can't do during the session based on how old the baby is.

Do you photograph newborns at home?

A.We no longer photograph newborns at home. All newborn sessions are now done in studio only for lighting and safety purposes. Also, having them done in the studio allows you access to our client closet and props to use during your session!

When should I schedule First Birthday, Cake Smash or Milestone Session?

A.For Cake Smash/1st Birthday Sessions we recommend doing your session from as early as 10 months and on. While it may sound a bit early, we find it to be a sweet spot in happy babies and gorgeous photos! However, we can do them at any age should you choose not to do them that early!

What does the Client Closet include?

A.Our client closet is available to you for all sessions but is mainly used for Maternity, Newborn and Milestone Sessions. Our closet includes props, newborn outfits, maternity gowns, wraps, headbands, jewelry, etc! I have a bit of shopping addiction when it comes to all things photography so there's much for you to enjoy!
